Day #27 of 30 days of Doodles in White on Black
I am definitely slowing down in my 30 daychallenge. I missed a day yesterday. Here is what my partner in this creative project said about this drawing: “The tree evokes a carnivalesque feeing, like lollipops or balloons on strings.” I like that interpretation. What’s interesting and a reason to put work out, is that whoever sees it adds their own interpretation, which I think adds to a work of art. The artist’s intentions are just one interpretation and after the work is done, no more authoritative than any other, for now the work belongs as much to the seer as the person who made it.
